MimSoul Records (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website https://mimsoulrecords.com, related web pages, and the MimSoul mobile application for Android and iOS (together, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what choices you have. By using our Services, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to visitors and listeners of MimSoul Radio on our website, and to users of the MimSoul mobile app. The app includes live radio streaming, a music catalog and track purchases, PartyGram (social posts, comments, likes, and mentions), MimSL coin rewards and in-app tasks, user accounts, profiles, and notifications.

Some features may be available on the website, in the app, or both. Where a feature exists only in one place, we say so in the sections below.

2. Information We Collect

Website (mimsoulrecords.com)

When you visit our website, we may collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and general usage data. We may also collect listening and interaction data related to how you use radio streams, embedded players, playlists, or related pages on the site.

If you contact us, subscribe to a newsletter, or submit a form, we may collect voluntary information such as your name, email address, or the content of your message.

We may collect this information through server logs, cookies or similar technologies, and analytics tools described later in this policy.

Mobile App (MimSoul)

When you use the MimSoul app, we may collect the following types of information.

Account and profile information: email address; first name and last name if you provide them; username; profile photo if you upload one; login method (for example email and password, Google, or Apple); account creation date; and account status.

App activity and content you create: radio listening activity within the app; music browsing, likes, comments, and votes on tracks; PartyGram posts, captions, images, comments, likes, mentions, and reports; followers, following, and blocked users; search activity within the app (for example when you search for users); in-app purchases of tracks using MimSL coins; coin balance, coin history, task submissions, referral codes, and reward activity; and proof files or links you submit for coin tasks (for example screenshots or Beatport links).

Device and technical information: device identifiers and device type; operating system and app version; push notification token (FCM or APNs) if you enable notifications; last active or online presence timestamp; and crash or performance data that our infrastructure providers may process.

Information from permissions you grant: depending on how you use the app, we may access your camera to take a profile photo or post image; your photo library to choose a profile photo, upload post images, or save downloaded content; your microphone only if a feature that requires it is used; and notifications to send push alerts about music, mentions, and app updates if you enable them. You can change many of these permissions in your device settings.

Information from third-party sign-in: if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive information allowed by those services (such as your email and name). We do not receive your Google or Apple password.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of data (such as health information, political opinions, or precise GPS location) unless you voluntarily include them in content you post.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide and operate the Services, including streaming, accounts, social features, and purchases; authenticate users and secure accounts; process track purchases and MimSL coin activity; review task submissions and reward eligible activity; send push notifications and in-app messages if you enable them; moderate content, enforce community rules, and handle reports; improve performance, fix bugs, and develop new features; analyze usage trends on our website and aggregated app usage; communicate with you about support, updates, or policy changes; and comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and the safety of our users.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. MimSL Coins and In-App Economy

The app includes a virtual coin system called MimSL. Coins may be earned through tasks and engagement and spent inside the app (for example on track purchases or other in-app actions).

MimSL coins are virtual rewards within the MimSoul ecosystem. They are not cryptocurrency listed on public exchanges. Coin balances and transaction records are stored in our systems. Withdrawal or cash-out features, if offered in the future, will be described in the app and may require additional verification. Historical wallet or payout details may remain in our backend systems even if they are no longer shown in the app interface.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted providers to run the Services. They process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies and our instructions.

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Messaging) for accounts, database storage, server logic, and push notifications. We use Google Sign-In for optional login. We use Sign in with Apple for optional login on Apple devices. We use Cloudflare R2 for storage of images, audio files, and user uploads. We use Radio.co for live radio streaming. We use YouTube for embedded or in-app video playback where applicable. We use Meta and Facebook services for Instagram Story sharing when you choose to share content from the app. We may use Google Analytics for website traffic analysis on our website where enabled. We may use Meta Ads Manager for advertising campaigns related to our website and marketing where used.

These providers may process data in countries other than yours. Their policies govern their direct collection where applicable.

We use third-party advertising services (such as Google AdMob) to provide rewarded video ads within the app. These services may collect and use Device IDs and performance data to deliver ads and prevent fraud. Users can voluntarily watch these ads to earn MimSL coins. Website marketing and analytics tools may still apply to web visitors only.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies (Website)

Our website may use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies to remember preferences, measure traffic and performance, and support marketing or analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some website features.

The mobile app does not use browser cookies in the same way. It may use local storage on your device for settings and session data.

7. User-Generated Content and Social Features

PartyGram and related social features allow you to post content that may be visible to other users. You are responsible for the content you post. Other users may see your username, photo, posts, and public activity. We may review, remove, or restrict content that violates our rules. Reports submitted by users are stored for moderation. Do not post personal information you do not want others to see.

8. Push Notifications

If you enable notifications, we store a device push token to send alerts about new music or releases, mentions and social activity, and account or reward updates. You can disable notifications in the app or in your device settings at any time.

9. Data Storage, Security, and Retention

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. **All data collected by the app is encrypted in transit** using secure connections (HTTPS and TLS). We also use access controls and secure cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. For active accounts, data is retained while your account is active. For deleted accounts, see Section 10. Some records may be kept longer if required by law or for fraud prevention. Deleted data may persist in backups for a limited period before automatic removal.

10. Your Rights and Account Deletion

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

MimSoul provides in-app account deletion. With temporary deactivation, your profile may be hidden and you can restore access by logging in again within the stated period (currently up to 60 days). After that, data may be permanently deleted. With permanent deletion, your account and associated data (including your profile, posts, and related content) are removed and cannot be recovered.

To delete your account, use the Delete Account option in the app profile or settings flow. Admin accounts may not be self-deleted through the app.

Web-based Deletion Request: If you have uninstalled the app and wish to request the deletion of your account and collected data without reinstalling it, you can submit a deletion request by sending an email to support@mimsoulrecords.com. We will permanently and securely delete your personal information (including email, name, user ID, and uploaded photos) from our servers within a reasonable timeframe.

To request help with access, correction, or deletion, contact us at support@mimsoulrecords.com. We will respond within a reasonable time as required by applicable law.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us at support@mimsoulrecords.com and we will take steps to delete it.

12. International Users

MimSoul Records is located at 127 N Higgins Ave Ste 307D 909, Missoula, MT, USA. Your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate, including the United States and the European Union. By using the Services, you understand that your data may be transferred internationally with appropriate safeguards where required by law.

13. Links to Other Sites

Our Services may link to third-party websites (for example Beatport, Instagram, Spotify, or YouTube). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies before providing information to them.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated policy. For significant changes, we may provide additional notice in the app or by email where appropriate.
